What Type (subbreed) of collie would be best for me?

The border collie is a very smart one. But, as most of collies, they need attention, and exercise. Dogs are not like other animals, they need a lot of attention. I don't know if having a dog (with all the other animals) is right for you at all. But, the border collie doesn't have any "hunting" instinct. They were mainly used to check out on sheep's so they won't go away. Just make sure you are going to have enough time to take care of him (or her...:P). But for my part, I had a Border Collie for about 3 years now, and I love to see how brilliant this dog is, and how he get along with other animals... :)
