Glitz Pageants in Washington?

You may not find any in Washington. It's really not the culture of the area to be focused on beauty pageants. Since the state has such a high average educational level and social values of taking women seriously, I suspect many people in the northwest would perceive beauty pageants to be shallow and phony and would not want their daughters to participate in something that encourages little girls to wear make-up and be so focused on physical beauty instead of more important things.
