Child beauty pageants?!?!!!?!?

My youngest is six and she loves make-up, fashion etc. I think she gets it from my eldest who is twelve. I would never allow any of my children to go into a child beauty pagaents. I want to teach my children, my daughters especially that looks aren't everything, they are beautiful the way they are. I don't believe in child beauty pagaents. Two words, Jonbenet Ramsay, nuff said. I don't know how much people spend on them but i do know that some crazy mothers can spend hundreds, even thousands, on one pageant.
