Should I continue pageantry?

I've done the National American Miss Arizona Pageant for several years and I loved it and made top ten in the main pageant and top five in several of the optional contests. I'm about to start college and I'd really love more than anything to continue pageantry, but I'm worried about the expense. I"ve been invited to participate in the state Miss Teen USA pageant, but didn't do it because of the price. What I want to know is should I continue pageantry and how can I afford it? Please, no generic answers like "go with your heart". It doesn't answer my question at all. Thank you.
