I cant download google crome because i downloaded something that made yahoo my home page.?

i downloaded something it said make yahoo your homepage and now i cant download google crome or i wait all that time and then it says sorry you cant go to that url on this server ands it is pissing me the **** off because i deleted the thing i downloaded. i dont get it
